The UV Warrior is a new generation Hybrid Sunscreen that features a combination of Ultra fine Titanium Dioxide and Micronised Zinc Oxide, coated and prepared by crystal growth-guided technology and optimised by a bioactive photoprotection complex made up of Melanin and Buddleja officinalis extract. UV Warrior is designed to provide true broad spectrum Coverage whilst minimising hyperpigmentation. Helps prevent sunburn. UV Warrior decreases the risk of skin cancer, early skin aging and hyperpigmentation caused by the sun.

It is a lightweight emulsion formulated to blend smoothly into skin of colour, leaving a cosmetically elegant and invisible finish.

This Optimised UV protection system utilises fractionated Melanin as a true source of broad spectrum photo-protection. Scientific studies suggests that High Energy Visible (HEV) light, at the wavelengths that the eye perceives as blue to violet, is specifically harmful to skin of colour. HEV light has been shown to generate the same amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the skin as those produced by UVA and UVB combined. Melanin possesses an excellent ability to absorb light at all wavelengths of the electromagnetic solar emission spectrum and also occurs naturally in the human body where it is released from melanocytes into the skin as a first line of defence against exposure to certain damaging light waves. Melanin’s photo-physical properties and its biological activity makes it an excellent photo-protectant.

How to Use: Apply about 3 to 5ml generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. For Children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor. Apply to all skin exposed to the sun. Re-apply ◦ at least every 2 hours ◦ after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating ◦ immediately after towel drying
